The WAPPage editor provides the foremost fundamental controls, viz., 'A' Element, Select, Option, Optgroup, Input ,Text, Card, Para and Image. Each control is represented by an appropriate icon in the Design Bar or as a menu item in the WML Controls Menu. These icons get activated only when a file is open in the editor.
A WML control can be placed in the control pane either by clicking an active icon (that is, when a file is open) or by selecting its name from the menu and dropping it anywhere in the control pane area.
NOTE: An Option control can be placed only inside a Select or Optgroup Control. Similarly, an Optgroup control can be placed only inside a Select Control.
If the above said controls are placed at any other place, a message to this effect will be displayed and the control will not be added in the Control Pane.
Right clicking on the respective control will enable a context sensitive menu. Clicking on the "Properties" option enables a dialog box appropriate to the control and the corresponding properties can be set.
